Terms of service

Last updated: June 2026
The TL;DR

Use PackCode to do useful things. Don't use it for illegal or abusive stuff. The service is provided as-is — if you're using it for critical work, double-check the output. We're a small independent operation; we may change features or pricing with notice.

1. Acceptance

By using PackCode (the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What the service does

PackCode rewrites your text prompts into more effective, token-efficient versions tuned for specific AI models. The rewrites are generated by Anthropic's Claude API.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the service to:

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of any text or code you submit to PackCode. You grant us a limited, temporary licence to process that content solely to provide the service (i.e. send it to Claude and return the result). We do not store your content after processing.

5. Output

The optimised prompts generated by PackCode are yours to use freely. Note: AI-generated content has known limitations — always review output before relying on it for important work.

6. Free tier and paid plans

The service currently offers a free tier with daily usage limits. Paid plans (Pro / Lifetime) are launching soon. When they go live, terms specific to billing, refunds, and cancellation will be added here. Users on the waitlist will be notified before charges begin.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but make no formal uptime guarantees. The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PackCode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, on the free tier, is zero).

9. Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We'll provide reasonable notice for significant changes that affect existing users.

10. Termination

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or if we need to discontinue the service entirely (with reasonable notice).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the English courts.
